FTP protocol is preffered way to access and download content from your slot. Most widely used FTP client for this is FileZilla available for Windows/Linux/MacOS. 

Once you install your FTP cient and configure connection to your server you will be able to download or upload content between your computer and your slot.

Install FileZilla FTP client

This is a basic guide on connecting to your Ultraseedbox slot using FTP/SFTP with FileZilla.
Please download and install Filezilla if you have not already done so: Filezilla Client Download Page / Multi platform
Once you have installed Filezilla, run the application and you will be able to work through the rest of tutorial.

FileZilla GUI explained

FileZilla interface is very easy to use. Most important parts of FIleZilla interface are explained bellow:

1. Info panel - displays connection info and reported errors if there are any.
2. Local site panel - this is your computer, you will be using this to navigate trough the files located on your computer
3. Remote site panel - this is your Ultraseedbox slot, you will be using this to navigate trough the files located on your Ultraseedbox slot
4. Transfer panel - shows all transfers between your computer and slot - queueued files, failed transfers and successful transfer
5. Site manager icon - connect to already configured slots or create connection for your slot

Configure connection

Open Site Manager and make "New Site" (1).
Server and protocol information

• Host: your server IP address (2)
• Port: 21 or leave empty (3)
• Protocol: "FTP - File Transfer Protocol" (4)
• Encryption: "Use explicti FTP over TLS if available" or "Require explicti FTP over TLS" (5)

Login information

• Login Type: "Normal" (6)
• User: your FTP username (7)
• Password: your FTP password (8)

Click "OK" button (9).
Congratulations, your FTP connection is now ready.

Connect to FTP

Open Site Manager dropdown menu (1) and click on your connection (2). Once connected to your slot your will be able to browse your files and do file transfers between your computer and your slot.
NOTE: You can also connect from site manager window.

Troubleshooting

I've setup connection using "Quickconnect" but I am not able to connect to my slot

Do not use Quickconnect option. We already described how to setup connection in "Configure connection" part of this tutorial.

I am not able to connect

Please examine your connection log for error messages (1), maybe you entered wrong credentials or something else is not configured properly. Connection log will give you a clue how to solve this proble,
If you are not able to solve this on your own please submit ticket and include connection log information, without connection log information we can not help you properly. Right click on connection log (1) and from menu select "Copy to clipboard" (2)
